Mr Harper - School Chaplain

The Royal Masonic School for Girls has relunctantly accepted the resignation of Mr Alistair Harper, the School Chaplain. The Governors thank Mr Harper for his unstinting support and the significance and value of his contribution. He has discharged his duties very ably with much appreciation from the whole school community. The School wishes him well in all his future endeavours.

On January 11th 2013 we welcomed Dr Abigail James to the Royal Masonic School for Girls. Dr James, the author of "Teaching the female brain - how girls learn maths and science" spent the day running training for staff and speaking to students.

At 2.30 pm on Friday 19th October 2012, 48 year 12 and year 13 Biology and Psychology students from RMS attempted to set a Guinness record for the world’s largest memory game  to celebrate Biology Week.

Dame Jacqueline Wilson visits RMS

Sixteen boarders from Royal Masonic School for Girls had the opportunity to meet eminent author and Children’s Laureate Dame Jacqueline Wilson prior to a talk given at the school. The talk, sponsored by Chorleywood Bookshop, was attended by over 500 members of the school community and public.
