Most girls are taught in Forms with informal groups within these classes when appropriate. I f girls require extra support to enable them to succeed and achieve their potential they may be included in small group teaching outside the classroom or receive individual one-to-one teaching for one or two sessions per week. This includes those girls for whom English is not their first language who require specialist EAL teaching.  Small group Mathematics is provided in Years 3 and 4 and Mathematics is set into 3 groups across the year in Years 5 and 6.

Girls are also included in the Enrichment programme when they are seen to be achieving a standard in a particular area far above that which would be expected of a child of their age.  This will mean that they often have differentiated work in lessons and also extra opportunities to extend their knowledge and talent outside the classroom, often working with girls of a different age.
